Shimano CUES Drivetrain

Shifts that last. Not shifts that need adjusting.

Shimano's Linkglide technology uses thicker teeth and reinforced sprockets designed for e-bike torque. The chain lasts 3× longer than standard drivetrains. Nine speeds with an 11-46T range covers flat paths and steep hills alike.

Pre-orders ship May 2026. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking when your bike is on its way. No deposit is required to reserve — you only pay when the bike is ready to ship.

If your commute includes broken pavement, gravel paths, or rougher road surfaces, the 63mm Suntour fork makes a noticeable difference in comfort. If you ride mostly smooth, paved roads, the Discover Lite gives you the same Bosch system and cargo capacity with a rigid fork — 1.4 kg lighter and $100 less.

Yes. The Discover uses Bosch's external PowerPack system with a universal carrier mount. The 400Wh battery ships standard. You can purchase 545Wh or 800Wh batteries separately and swap them with no tools — just pull the handle and slide in. No dealer visit required.

Range depends on assist level, terrain, rider weight, and conditions. With the 400Wh battery, expect roughly 90–110 km in Eco mode on flat terrain, 60–80 km in Tour, and 30–40 km in Turbo. Use the Bosch Range Calculator for a personalized estimate. Upgrading to 800Wh approximately doubles these figures.
